San Lorenzo Apartments

How to reach the apartments by car:
The building is in a pedestrian street, so you can't drive or park directly in that area. The closest area that you can reach and leave your car is Garage Sant'Orsola, in Via Sant'Orsola

Coming from South (Rome) the first exit is Firenze Sud.
Coming from North (Milan, Venice, Bologna or Genoa) the first exit is Firenze Nord.
Coming from Pisa or Siena the roads will lead directly into the city.

After exiting the motorway, first follow the signs indicating "CENTRO" and then the ones indicating "Stazione S.M.N.". Once you are at Piazza Indipendenza at the next cross turn on your left in Via Alfani. Continue for about 200 meteres and than you turn on the second street on your right in Via Sant'Orsola. However the garage is signed with the "P" and "Sant'Orsola". Garage costs around 35 euro per day, approximately.

How to get to the apartments from the airport:
The easiest and cheapest way to reach the hotel from the A. Vespucci airport is by bus. There is a shuttle bus every 30 minutes from the airport to the central train station. The tickets may be purchased on board and cost Euro 8,00. If you prefer to ride in comfort by taxi the fare can be around Euro 20,00. We cal also provide a personal and private transfer with our private driver Beppe.

How to get to the apartments from the train station:
Since the building is located just 400 meters away from S.M.N. central train station, you can easily get to the apartment by foot if you are not carrying too much luggage. The direction from the train station is that one you have to follow as walking for the Duomo; at the end of the train platform, you have to turn on your left and reach the exit; than you have to cross the street at the street lamp, and than turn on your right; straight on always in direction Duomo, walking in Via Panzani and Via Cerretani (same street but changing the name); you should arrive after 10 minutes walking in front of the Baptistery, and on your left there is a Pharmacy with green cross outside: that is the corner with Via Borgo San Lorenzo and the number 13 is after 100 meters, on your left; the door street is behind Giannino's Restaurant windows. A taxi will cost approximately 8,00 Euro from the station.

How to reach the apartments by car:
From the “A1” highway take the Firenze Sud exit. Follow the ramp all the way and cross the bridge on the Arno river; at the stop light at the bottom of the bridge, turn left and follow the directions for the Viali di Circonvallazione (the river should always be on your left!). Take the riverside avenue to the San Niccolò Bridge, exit to the left then turn right onto Viale Giovanni Amendola. Arriving at Piazza Beccaria - easily recognizable from the antique gate - continue straight to Piazza Donatello - with the cemetery in the center – and drive around that cemetery, following the signs for the ZTL (limited traffic zone) and the Santa Maria Nuova Hospital. Turn right at the first traffic light onto Via Alfieri, take the first right (Via Giusti); then take the first left (Borgo Pinti) and the first right (via Laura), finally, take the first left (Via della Pergola). Parking at the Apartmenst is in the Pergola alley, the fourth left on Via della Pergola, next to the Teatro della Pergola. Once at the gate, ring the bell.

How to get to the apartments from the airport:
The ‘Amerigo Vespucci’ airport of Florence is 8.5 km away. To get to the hotel use the taxi service; travel time is 30 minutes, and the cost averages between 30 and 35 Euro. From the airport the shuttle goes directly to the Santa Maria Novella Station; from there you can proceed to follow the instructions outlined in the section ‘By Train’. We cal also provide a personal and private transfer with our private driver Beppe.

How to get to the apartments from the train station:
From the Santa Maria Novella station you can reach the hotel by taxi (we don't recommend proceeding on foot, especially with luggage; the distance requires at least 20 minutes of travel) or by bus, taking route 14 from the station and get off at the second stop on Via Ghibellina; from here, on foot, take Via Verdi, Piazza Salvemini and arrive at Borgo Pinti. 5 minutes and you will be at the Pergola Apartments.
