Accommodating up to eight guests, the large Mannucci, formerly known as the Turchi apartment, at 190 square metres is a great choice for larger families or up to four couples travelling together. Featuring panoramic views over the monuments, wooden floors, high beamed wooden ceilings, a small rooftop terrace and sublime natural light, your stay at Mannucci wil be memorable.

Comprising four bedrooms (3 separate bedrooms with king size bed and a loft with two single beds), 3 bathrooms and a fully equipped Kitchen and dining room the Mannucci apartment offers all the comforts to have a great stay in the heart of Florence.

Throughout your stay at Mannucci  apartment you are welcome to make use of our complimentary wireless internet service, tune into a range of programs on our satellite TV and catch up on your washing using your private washing machine and ironing facilities.

Our San Lorenzo apartments are nestled in the heart of the San Lorenzo markets, famous for their Italian leather shoes, handbags, wallets and jackets. The building houses nine stylish apartments, each of them remarkably quiet (the street is closed to traffic). On the street below you can choose to dine at countless trattorias and ristorantes.

Just fifty metres away is Duomo and the main shopping thoroughfare which leads to Ponte Vecchio and the Uffizi Gallery. Stroll through Florence's main produce markets, located just two blocks away and explore the many historic buildings and monuments surrounding this most central location.

This note is late! I wanted to let you know what a wonderful time we had during our week's stay at your apartment. The beds were comfortable. It was lovely, comfortable, spacious, and we had a great time. We cooked three dinners during the week, and with wine we found in various places, enjoyed ourselves immensely. The location was ideal, and being a 10 minute walk from the train station was a great feature. We wandered through the great - and small - churches, read history, travelled by rail to Bologna and Ravenna, saw the Boboli gardens and Pitti Palace, visited the Uffizi/Bargello/Academia and other museums, sat in the sunshine, and ate marvelous food accompanied by wine. If there was an improvement to mention, I would say that we had a momentary problem finding the "13" on Borgo San Lorenzo. There's a big sign at a shoe store on the street with "Borgo San Lorenzo 13" and one of the men (of course!) wouldn't budge until we told him he was in the wrong place! If you could mention to look at the black and white numbers for the address it might help others. I felt so wonderful in Florence, and later in Tuscany. What is it about your country that is so welcoming and makes me feel as if I truly belong there? I will have to return. Thanks again for our wonderful "home" in Florence! Sheryl

Hi, I just wanted to say thank you for the fantastic stay a week ago. The 6 of us really enjoyed the apartment. It was very clean when we got there,check-in was super easy, and it was really nice to have a washing machine to use. We started out as three gals with a dream of spending three weeks in Florence attending an Italian language school. Searching for the perfect apartment at first was challenging and then we found Sleeping in Florence and your Turchi apartment. It did, indeed, turn out to be the perfect apartment for us. We were happy to call "Turchi" our "home" as our dream of spending time in Florence slowly turned into wonderful memories. We enjoyed the fact that we each had our own private bedroom with a way comfortable king size bed as well as each our own bathroom. We were thrilled that the apartment had all the conveniences of home, especially a dishwasher and clothes washing machine. The little balcony overlooking the San Lorenzo Duomo was an added and charming "plus!" Gianna, we especially want to make a point of thanking you for the special care and attention you gave at quickly responding to our every question and need during our stay (Thank you to Neil, too)! I must mention, as well, that the location of the apartment in the Centro Storico is superb! We couldn't have possibly found any better. We're back home in Arizona now. The three of us had a marvelous time in Florence and will surely recommend your site to others interested finding the perfect apartment while visiting Florence. Thank you!
