Our most spacious apartment at 240 square metres, the Galeota apartment includes use of a large rooftop terrace, the perfect location to enjoy a glass of Chianti as the sun sets over the rooftops of the historic centre.

Accommodating up to eight guests, Galeota apartment features wooden floors, high beamed wooden ceilings and sublime natural light. Comprising four bedrooms (3 separate bedrooms with king size bed and one separate bedroom with two single beds), 2 bathrooms with toilet facilities (one with shower and one with bathtub), a fully equipped Kitchen and massive dining room the Galeota apartment ensures a truly memorable experience for a large family or group of friends.

Throughout your stay at Galeota apartment you are welcome to make use of our complimentary wireless internet service, tune into a range of programs on our satellite TV and catch up on your washing using your private washing machine and ironing facilities.

Our San Lorenzo apartments are nestled in the heart of the San Lorenzo markets, famous for their Italian leather shoes, handbags, wallets and jackets. The building houses nine stylish apartments, each of them remarkably quiet (the street is closed to traffic). On the street below you can choose to dine at countless trattorias and ristorantes.

Just fifty metres away is Duomo and the main shopping thoroughfare which leads to Ponte Vecchio and the Uffizi Gallery. Stroll through Florence's main produce markets, located just two blocks away and explore the many historic buildings and monuments surrounding this most central location.

Dear Gianna, I wanted to send a thank you note to you right after returning from Italy but work and other commitments interfered. Now that I finally have some free time, I want to thank you again for the opportunity to stay for a few days in your most wonderful apartment. When we walked into it and looked around we were sure we were in heaven. The apartment was perfect for me and my four grandsons – it could not be better located in Florence, it was quiet, we had all the space that we could wish for, the kitchen was larger and better in any apartment I ever rented, the beds were very comfortable and the air conditioning made the whole apartment comfortable as well. I feel very fortunate that somehow I found you and your apartment as both made our stay in Florence perfect. I also want to thank you for recommending many people who made our stay so enjoyable. First was Martina whom you proposed as a guide to walk us thru the city on our first day. She did a great job, starting on the hills above the city across the Arno and ending at the apartment. I was exhausted but my grandsons were ready for more. Martina also introduced us to a great sandwich shop right near your apartment as well as a good restaurant nearby. Then you recommended Valerie Niemeyer Chini who was an excellent for the Ufizzi and she recommended her husband, Siro, who was equally great guiding us thru the Academia Gallery and an outside tour of the Duomo. We left Florence with a greater appreciation for the incredible art work in your city. Finally, you recommended Beppe to take us from Florence to Rome with a stop in Sienna to see the preparations for the Palio. We arranged via Beppe for his friend, Lorenzo, to drive us on to Rome with several stops along the way. It was a wonderful day in Tuscany. So as you can see, we were all very happy with our stay in Florence, all thanks to you. Best regards, Fred

I want to thank you for everything you did to make our stay a nice one. Of course, mother nature prevented us from doing too much, but nonetheless, Florence is wonderful. We had a great pizza gelato class with the girls, a wonderful wine tasting with our boys and the girls took a carriage ride with their uncles. We did also get to see the Uffizi. Gianninno's was great to us...we loved eating there and we also found that Trattoria Ponte Vecchio was also wonderful and they were great to our girls. I look forward to coming back one day, possibly like the Yurman's that are coming in October...best time to come! Again, Grazie, Mille and all the best to you. -- Lois

We were a party of 8, the Galeota apartment was so spacious and well located I cannot imagine staying anywhere else in Florence. The roof top verandah was such a added bonus everything on the site was exactly how we had hoped. A big thanks to Martina who was our host during the stay. She couldn't do enough for us if it was a restaurant booking, or fedex delivery or recomendation for car tour driver everything was no problem. Congratulation Gianna Galeota and thanks

My family of 6 plus 2 friends had the pleasure of staying in Gianna's Galeota apartment June 26 - 28, 2012. The aparement is absolutely beautiful; is well equipped; and is in a perfect location. More importantly, Gianna is a perfect hostess, making sure we had everything we needed and even helping us get train tickets from Florence to Venice and from Venice to Rome for the final two legs of our Italian jouney. The only regret of our tirp to Italy is that we didn't plan on spending more time in beautiful Florence in the incredible Galeota apartment. We will definately be back. Thanks Gianna! Caio Caio! Hi Gianna and Beppe, I wanted to let you know we loved our stay in Florence. The apartment was amazing and what a location! Beppe, our day with you in Tuscany was our favorite day. We appreciated your professional, friendly, personable manner. And you gave us lots of interesting info. My friend, Robbi, is looking for lodging in Florence so I'm passing along your info to her. I've also let her know that hiring Beppe can be a convenient, relaxing, fun way to see the sights. The apartment was absolutely beautiful, perfectly located, well furnished, and the balcony is such a bonus to be able to sit outside with the sun shining on the flowers with perfect views. Only regret, we had only two nights. Hope to be back sometime again. Thanks for sharing the apartment with us.

Ciao Gianna e Gabriella!! What a trip my friends and I had staying at the Galeota. As you know this is the third apartment I have rented -- and they have all been wonderful, but staying with my friends of 45 years was the best memory ever. The apartment was beautiful and so large, we felt it was our home while in Firenze! We had a wonderful cooking class with Paola and returned home to prepare all the dishes. The servers at Giannino's remembered me and made all of us feel so welcome. I will return next year and every year that I am able. I would never stay anywhere else in Florence. Gabriella, thank you for your patience when I was on the rooftop terrace and the lights went out!! Grazie Mille to both of you! I will see you again!
