Ciao Gianna e Gabriella!! What a trip my friends and I had staying at the Galeota. As you know this is the third apartment I have rented -- and they have all been wonderful, but staying with my friends of 45 years was the best memory ever. The apartment was beautiful and so large, we felt it was our home while in Firenze! We had a wonderful cooking class with Paola and returned home to prepare all the dishes. The servers at Giannino's remembered me and made all of us feel so welcome. I will return next year and every year that I am able. I would never stay anywhere else in Florence. Gabriella, thank you for your patience when I was on the rooftop terrace and the lights went out!! Grazie Mille to both of you! I will see you again!

Gianna and Gabriella, We are finishing out our last night in Florence and I must thank you both for opening the apartment to our family and making our trip special! Our parents have truly enjoyed themselves and Florence has become an amazing way to begin our vacation. The city is amazing, the tour of Tuscany was just what we needed and the fireworks on Easter morning were an experience we won’t soon forget. "Dear Gianna, I hope you are well. We stayed at your apartments from 12th Sept until 19th Sept on Borgo San Lorenzo. We had a wonderful time..one of the most memorable times of our lives. The apartments were very comfortable. Galeoto was an incredible flat. I could not believe how large it is. The web site and photos do not do it justice. Also wanted to let you know how much we appreciated Gabrella's help during our stay. There were a number of instances where we would have been absolutely lost without her. She truly went well above and beyond call of duty to help us. This really made a HUGE difference to our stay. We will not have any hesitation in recommending the apartments to anyone we know and will definitely be staying there when we return to Florence. We are happy to write a review on any of the websites you recommend. Best of luck Tamara

from Tripadvisor comment:"I just returned from Italy and had rented an apartment through sleepinginflorence,com and had a great experience. I had a group/family of 8 and we stayed in the Galoeta Apartment. Great experience, the building is located in a pedestrian street lined with restaurants on the first floor just around the corner from the Duomo. You can't beat being able to walk to the markets, sights and train/bus stations. The aparatment was large and plenty of room for 8- plus some! The manager was a great help and very knowledgeable about everything and willing to help. The owner can arrange for tranportation or tours. The driver Beppe was excellent, our Chianti tour was a highlight of our trip. I have no hesitation to recommend these apartments (Owner has 6 in the building), just beware no elevator, but steps were no problem for our group ages 15-69. I look forward to a return trip and staying there again."
